Aero The Acro-Bat Plus Lost Gems Sunsoft Collection Announced

Aero the Acro-Bat was a series of platform games released for 16-bit consoles back in the 90s, with a later release appearing on the GBA in 2002. Over the last couple of years, many of the games in the series have been released on modern console storefronts, and publisher SelectaPlay has now announced a complete collection due out on PS5 and Switch in the summer of 2026. The physical release will include all four games in the series, as well as two other ‘lost gems’ from the original publisher Sunsoft, and is available to pre-order now.

In a press statement, SelectaPlay said. “For the very first time, six full classic titles from Sunsoft’s storied back catalogue are brought together in a single physical release, available on one disc or cartridge. This definitive collection revives beloved platforming and action favourites, celebrating an era of colourful characters, precision gameplay, and unmistakable 16-bit charm.”
