Pixel Art Game Delverium Gets Multiplayer Demo This Month

Delverium is an open-world survival sandbox farming game where players explore a vast procedurally generated world with 1-8 players. In the game, players will gather resources, build shelters, tend farms, recruit NPCs, craft items, or take on high-risk dungeon crawling as they delve into the unknown. Although no set release has been scheduled for Delverium, the developer has been running a playtest that is still open to join.

The game has been developed by Brisbane-based Sagestone Games, and there is currently a demo available that will receive a major update on February 20th, 2026, as part of the Steam Next Fest. The update will add a host of multiplayer features as well as new quests and general fixes.

The demo update includes:

Online co-op for up to 8 players

Simultaneous split-screen and online multiplayer

A huge graphical overhaul, with improved sprites

Ambient audio overhaul for enhanced immersion

Full control rebinding

Fast travel via hidden Journey Shrines

New lore and quest systems

A brand-new boss encounter

Expanded world, character, and difficulty customisation

I’m Yousiff Taqi, born in ’87, and I’ve been a huge fan of retro games for as long as I can remember. My favorites are RPGs, Platformers, and Action Adventure. I’ve been interested in computers ever since I was young, which is why I pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Now, armed with my passion for both retro gaming and computer engineering, I’m excited to embark on new adventures in the world of technology, where I hope to merge my interests and make meaningful contributions. https://www.instagram.com/Aeon https://twitter.com/FencerDarkwind
