A celebrated fixture in the competitive gaming community, <strong>GDQ<\/strong> has raised over $57M since 2010 for charitable causes, and is closing in on over 10M live hours watched, 3M+ unique viewers, and 60K average concurrent viewers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<strong>AGDQ<\/strong> celebrates everything we love about games\u2014passion, community, and timeless retro fun,\u201d said <strong>James<\/strong> <strong>Deighan<\/strong>, CEO and founder of <strong>Mega<\/strong> <strong>Cat<\/strong> <strong>Studios<\/strong>. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to invite attendees to stop by the event this year in Pittsburgh and immerse themselves in the fun. Sit on our couch, grab a controller, and enjoy some of our favorite retro-inspired titles firsthand. Whether you\u2019re a speedrunner or a lifelong fan of classic games, we think you\u2019ll feel right at home.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attendees of <strong>AGDQ 2026<\/strong> are invited to lounge in the publisher\u2019s mock living room and channel their inner competitive cats with a number of activities. Guests will be given a curated retro collection of fan-beloved titles to play, compete for prizes, and relax in the portable living room. They can step up to the plate and swing for the fences with the <strong>Backyard<\/strong> <strong>Baseball<\/strong> home run high score challenge. Or, if arcade action is more their thing, they can take to the surreal skies and test their piloting skills in the <strong>ZPF<\/strong> speedrun challenge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to contests, the <strong>Mega Cat Studios<\/strong> booth will also offer attendees the chance to go hands-on with several unreleased and recently launched indie titles, including <strong>The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit<\/strong>, <strong>Phantom<\/strong> <strong>Gear<\/strong>, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>AGDQ 2026<\/strong> is being held in support of the <strong>Prevent Cancer Foundation<\/strong>, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people to stay ahead of cancer through prevention and early detection.
