Throughout the game, the player will uncover the mysterious story of the childhood they missed, to discover their daughter\u2019s whereabouts while eluding capture from ruthless police officer LaBleugh.<br \/><br \/><strong>Less Miserables<\/strong> has been described as part &#8216;Monkey Island&#8217;, part &#8216;Allo &#8216;Allo, and while we\u2019re sure the classic Monkey Island point and click games need no introduction to all our readers, you may be less familiar with the very silly wartime Brirish sitcom Allo Allo, but this comparison suggests that <strong>Less Miserables<\/strong> will by packed with silly jokes.<br \/><br \/>The game\u2019s developer, <strong>College Fun Games<\/strong>, says that <strong>Less Miserables<\/strong> aims to \u201cdo for &#8216;Les Mis\u00e9rables&#8217; what &#8216;Life of Brian&#8217; did to The Bible, with legally British humour, and a modern hobo-based hint system, \u201d adding that \u201cthe game follows the known story tropes, but is accessible for people who never pretended to sing from the barricades or see a three-headed monkey.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><br \/><strong>Less Miserables<\/strong> is fully hand-drawn, with 40 beautiful and\/or deprived locations in Paris to explore, and dozens of unique characters, fully voiced by stars of Edinburgh Fringe and stand-up shows, recorded in live-improv recording sessions.<br \/><br \/><strong>Less Miserables<\/strong> has already been in development for over a year, and the teaser trailer below launched yesterday, prior to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/collegefungames\/less-misearbles-a-point-and-click-parody-of-les-miserables\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kickstarter<\/a> for the game that\u2019s set to go live in April this year.
