It contained six classic <strong>Disney<\/strong> titles from the <strong>NES<\/strong> and was surprisingly not released for the <strong>Switch<\/strong> when it debuted around the same time. That has now been rectified, and <strong>The Disney Afternoon Collection<\/strong> will be heading to <strong>Switch<\/strong> and <strong>Switch 2<\/strong> on February 26th, 2026, with pre-orders open now. In more good news for retro fans, a physical edition from publisher <a href=\"https:\/\/atari.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Atari<\/strong><\/a> will ship in May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The collection will also feature two new titles, <strong>Goof<\/strong> <strong>Troop<\/strong> and <strong>Bonkers<\/strong>, both released on the <strong>SNES<\/strong>, as well. Master retro archivists <strong>Digital<\/strong> <strong>Eclipse<\/strong> compiled the collection, which includes lots of extras to dive deeper into the games beyond the games. Some include <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">behind-the-scenes materials, archival content from the Disney vault, and a Music Player where fans can enjoy the original soundtracks from all eight games. The six <strong>NES<\/strong> games feature Time Attack and Boss Rush speed-running modes with online leaderboards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Goof Troop<\/strong> (<strong>SNES<\/strong>): Team up with Goofy and Max in one of <strong>Shinji<\/strong> <strong>Mikami<\/strong>\u2019s earliest titles, solving puzzles together to rescue friends from a pirate island.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Bonkers<\/strong> (<strong>SNES<\/strong>): Navigate six wacky platforming levels in Toontown filled with Easter eggs for Disney fans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>DuckTales<\/strong> &amp; <strong>DuckTales 2<\/strong> (<strong>NES<\/strong>): One of <strong>Capcom<\/strong>\u2019s biggest hits, play as Scrooge McDuck with a cane that doubles as a weapon and a pogo stick. Explore multi-path levels packed with secrets, surprises and a memorable soundtrack. The sequel is just as fun!<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Chip &#8216;n Dale Rescue Rangers<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Chip &#8216;n Dale Rescue Rangers 2<\/strong> (<strong>NES<\/strong>): In this early 8-bit co-op platformer starring loveable chipmunk detectives, players work together to navigate levels, collecting acorns, boxes and other items to throw at enemies.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>TaleSpin<\/strong> (<strong>NES<\/strong>): Fly through the skies as Baloo in his plane, The Seaduck, in this side-scrolling shooter.
