Aero the Acro-Bat<\/strong> was a series of platform games released for 16-bit consoles back in the 90s, with a later release appearing<\/a> on the GBA<\/strong> in 2002. Over the last couple of years, many of the games in the series have been released on modern console storefronts, and publisher SelectaPlay<\/strong><\/a> has now announced a complete collection due out on PS5<\/strong> and Switch<\/strong> in the summer of 2026. The physical release<\/a> will include all four games in the series, as well as two other ‘lost gems’ from the original publisher Sunsoft<\/strong>, and is available to pre-order now.<\/p>\n

In a press statement, SelectaPlay<\/strong> said. \u201cFor the very first time, six full classic titles from Sunsoft<\/strong>\u2019s storied back catalogue are brought together in a single physical release, available on one disc or cartridge. This definitive collection revives beloved platforming and action favourites, celebrating an era of colourful characters, precision gameplay, and unmistakable 16-bit charm.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
