Indie developer Puppet Combo has announced console ports for their PS2-esque horror game, The Glass Staircase. The game, which was originally released for PC in 2019 is now coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on May 24th, with preorders currently available.
The Glass Staircase is an homage to survival horror and Italian zombie movies, featuring fixed camera angles to increase suspense, nostalgic graphics reminiscent of classic survival horror games, and a haunting story to unravel by collecting letters from the past. Players will explore an old house filled with eldritch secrets, listening to the voice on the intercom instructing them to be “good girls” in order to survive troubling times.
