The Ninten-Drawer by RockerGaming and BlueShell3D offers a solution to the NES‘s common issue with its 72-pin cartridge connector. This mod includes a fully assembled Ninten-Drawer unit, a customizable 3D-printed name plate, and an optional clear NES shell for a closer look at the components.
Installation requires disassembling the original console, including all cables, and carefully swapping in the clear shell, which adds a few extra steps. The Ninten-Drawer is preferred for its ease of replacement if something breaks and its secure cartridge placement thanks to magnets.
