Inti Creates has announced the release of their retro-style action game, Divine Dynamo Flamefrit, which will launch digitally for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam this winter.
The game features protagonist Yuto Hino navigating top-down action stages and engaging in first-person boss battles while piloting the giant robot Flamefrit. Initially teased as an April Fools’ joke, Flamefrit will also be available as a bonus game in physical copies of Card-en-Ciel in Japan, set to release on October 24. The game aims to capture the nostalgic essence of 90s anime and video games, allowing players to recruit allies for powerful magic attacks and strategically charge up Flamefrit’s abilities in combat against foes in the fantasy realm of Hologard.
