Shinji Mikami and Suda51 Plan Killer7 Remaster and Sequel

At the recent Grasshopper Direct event, Shinji Mikami and Suda51 discussed a potential new collaboration centered around Killer7, the stylized shooter that debuted on the PS2 and GameCube in 2005.

Both Japanese creators expressed their enthusiasm for developing a Complete Edition of Killer7, followed by the possibility of a sequel, tentatively titled Killer1 or Killer7: Beyond.

This re-release would introduce dialogue for the main character, who was silent in the original game. However, it is important to note that no definite plans have been established, and this project is not currently under active development.

I’m Yousiff Taqi, born in ’87, and I’ve been a huge fan of retro games for as long as I can remember. My favorites are RPGs, Platformers, and Action Adventure. I’ve been interested in computers ever since I was young, which is why I pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Now, armed with my passion for both retro gaming and computer engineering, I’m excited to embark on new adventures in the world of technology, where I hope to merge my interests and make meaningful contributions. https://www.instagram.com/Aeon https://twitter.com/FencerDarkwind
