The Yaba Sanshiro Sega Saturn emulator has launched on the Apple App Store for $4.99, with no free version available, unlike its Android counterpart. Developer Shinya Miyamoto announced that users can now play SEGA Saturn games on their iPhones, iPads, or Macs, although this initial version contains only basic features to meet the app store’s approval.
Future enhancements may be made depending on user demand. Users are required to provide their own games and BIOS files. Yaba Sanshiro is based on the now-defunct Yabause and is considered one of the top Saturn emulators for computers and mobile devices.
