Capcom Vs. SNK Pro: English Translation for Dreamcast Announced

Recent discussions have centered on the Capcom vs. SNK crossover series, particularly following the inclusion of SNK characters in Street Fighter 6. In response to this interest, an English translation patch for the Japan-exclusive Dreamcast version of Capcom vs. SNK Pro is in development, created by @JustinGibbins. The patch is nearly finished, awaiting final testing before its release. Gibbins confirmed that the translation is feature complete, incorporating all English content, including updates for online mode, and improvements to move names and icons.

Capcom vs. SNK Pro, released in 2001 as an enhanced version of Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000, adds characters like Joe Higashi and Dan Hibiki, allowing players to unlock all characters from the start, with new moves for existing fighters. While the Dreamcast version remained Japan-exclusive, a less favorable PlayStation port was made available internationally.
