The first two Dino Crisis games, Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2, are now available on GOG as of January 29, 2025. These classic survival horror titles, developed by Capcom, have been re-released with modern enhancements as part of GOG’s Preservation Program. Both games are DRM-free and feature updates to ensure compatibility with Windows 10/11, along with various quality-of-life improvements.
Key Features of the GOG Re-Releases:
- Enhanced Graphics and Compatibility: The games now support ~4K resolution, modern controllers, and enhanced DirectX rendering. Additional options such as V-Sync, gamma correction, and anti-aliasing provide a refined experience.
- Modes and Content: Dino Crisis includes Original Mode, Arrange Mode, and the PC-exclusive Operation Wipe Out mode. All original content from both games is intact.
- Stability Fixes: Updates address issues related to transparency, save functionality, and overall stability for smoother gameplay.
The games are available individually for $9.99 USD each or as a bundle for $16.99 USD. This re-release follows GOG’s efforts to revive classic titles and make them accessible to modern audiences. Fans can now relive the dinosaur-driven suspense of Dino Crisis or the action-packed gameplay of Dino Crisis 2 on contemporary PCs.
