Konami has announced that Tokimeki Memorial: Forever with You Emotional, a remastered version of the classic 1995 dating simulation game, will launch on May 8, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch in Japan. This remake celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Tokimeki Memorial series and aims to modernize the original while preserving its nostalgic charm.
The game features updated graphics, allowing players to switch between the original character illustrations and newly designed visuals. It also includes the Emotional Voice System (EVS), which lets characters call out player-set names, a feature first introduced in Tokimeki Memorial 2. The remaster retains the original script and voice acting while adding enhancements like high-resolution fonts and interface updates.
Two editions will be available: a standard edition priced at 6,600 yen and a deluxe edition for 9,680 yen, which includes bonus content such as a digital soundtrack, an opening movie without subtitles, and a gallery of over 280 illustrations. Both physical and digital versions will be offered.
