The Gremlin Collection 2 was just one of the announcements made by Blaze Entertainment during yesterday’s Evercade Showcase stream. Other announcements included Evercade Neo Geo products, on which we reported yesterday.
The Gremlin Collection 2 is, as the name suggests, the second Evercade cartridge compiling games originally released by defunct British publisher Gremlin, who, like Atari, are now owned by the French publisher Infogrames.
The Gremlin Collection 2 will be one of Evercade’s higher capacity “Giga Carts” ans will feature what Blaze Entertainment bill as four “32-bit” games, because they’re not allowed to say “PlayStation”!
The four games that will be featured on Gremlin Collection 2 are, as Blaze describe them:
“Loaded – A brutal, top-down run-and-gun shooter packed with dark humour and relentless action.
Re-Loaded – The sequel to Loaded, featuring even more destruction, chaos, and intense gameplay.
Hogs of War – A turn-based strategy game filled with tactical combat and hilarious voice acting from Rik Mayall, featuring fully 3D battlefields.
Buggy – A thrilling off-road racing game that tests skill, speed, and precision on rugged terrain.”
The previous Evercade collection of Gremlin games, called, perhaps unsurprisingly, The Gremlin Collection 1 featured a selection of 32-bit, 16-bit, and 8-bit games and was released back in 2022.
The Gremlin Collection 2 is scheduled for release in June 2025, with pre-orders opening today (April 1st).
