Delver Quest is new NES homebrew platform game that is set to be published via Broke Studio’s physical retro publishing platform, Homebrew Factory.


Homebrew Factory describes the plot of Delver Quest as follows: “When all of the world’s magic is banned by the evil wizard Cloptimus, you answer the call to adventure! Seek him out in his dastardly castle and defeat him! Become a hero and restore magic to the land and its people!”
Delver Quest has been designed for speed running, and will offer four worlds, with over 150 levels. The game has been developed by an independent development team by the name of “Save Gaming Dev,” who say that they “ love to make fun retro games.”


The Delver Quest physical edition will include a cartridge, a cartridge sleeve, full color cardboard box, a full color manual, a styrofoam block, and a ROM file to play in an emulator. The cartridge will be compatible with both NTSC and PAL models of NES, and it is priced at 50 Euros.

Pre-orders for the physical NES release of Delver Quest are only open on Homebrew Factory until June 8th, 2025, so if you’d like to embark upon the Delver Quest adventure on your NES, you’d better be quick!
