Capcom Fighting Collection 2 gets Even Beefier This Week

Capcom Fighting Collection 2, as its name very clearly suggests, is Capcom’s second collection of its classic fighting games. The collection was released back in May 2025, as we previously reported. And now, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 is getting a swathe of additional this Thursday, August 7th, 2025.

The new content for Capcom Fighting Collection 2 was announced during the Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 competition at Evo 2025.

The additional content heading to Capcom Fighting Collection 2 includes four new characters for Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, including fan favorite Ingrid, along with new artwork and the ability to enable “Mode Select” in EX settings.

There’s also a new mode for Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein, in which players will be able to display plasma combos in training mode.
New artwork will also be added to the collection’s gallery, and there will be bonus tracks for Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 and Power Stone.

So, with new additional fighters, more artwork and more music tracks heading to the game, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 really is about to get a whole lot beefier when the update for the game arrives this Thursday! Following the update, over 100+ combined original soundtracks will be available on select digital platforms.
