Snow Bros. Classic Collection is a new compilation of three versions of Toaplan’s classic platform game Snow Bros., which recently received a new instalment for modern formats in the form of Snow Bros. Wonderland, on which we previously reported.
However, the new Snow Bros. Classic Collection focuses strictly on the retro versions of the game, comprising the NES version (1991), the Game Boy version (1992), and the Genesis/Mega Drive version (1993).
While Snow Bros. Classic Collection focuses on the game’s console conversions, Snow Bros. was first released by Toaplan as an arcade game back in 1990, and the game also received a home computer conversion for the 16-bit Commodore Amiga that same year. Hoever, these two versions of Snow Bros. from 1990 are not included on Snow Bros. Classic Collection, which is a bit of a shame.
Snow Bros. Classic Collection is set to receive a physical release on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, to be published by Limited Run Games, with a choice of a Standard Edition priced at $34.99, or a Classic Edition priced at $64.99, that also comes with a retro inspired box, a soundtrack CD, and a poster. Pre orders for the Snow Bros. Classic Collection open on the Limited Run Games website today (November 14, 2025), running until December 14, 2025.
