Crash Live! Is a UK-based annual event dedicated to celebrating the ZX Spectrum home computer, run by Fusion Retro Books.
Last year, we reported on tickets for 2025’s event going on sale, and now, tickets for the 2026 event are available. This year’s event promises even more ZX Spectrum-related fun, and like its sister Commodore event, ZZAP! Live!, on which we reported last week, Crash Live! has moved to a superior venue for 2026, namely the Village Hotel in Coventry. Facilities at the Village Hotel include a swimming pool, gym, spa, Starbucks and restaurant. As well as over car parking spaces, and for those staying over, the hotel has over 150 rooms.
Crash Live! 2026 will cover each and every Spectrum system including the Spectrum Next family and there will also be many other retro systems for guests to play including Sega, Nintendo and various other systems, as well as a room full of retro arcade machines. Crash Live! 2026 will open at 8:00 PM Friday 16 October 16, 2026, with the second day closing at 11:00 PM on Saturday October 17, 2026.
Guests confirmed for the event so far include: Andrew Braybrook and Steve Turner from Graftgold (Avalon, Quazatron, Rainbow Islands, Fire and Ice and more); and Stoo Cambridge from Sensible Software (Sensible Soccer, Cannon Fodder); with many more to follow.
Tickets for Crash Live! 2026 are on sale now, with a choice of VIP tickets for Friday evening and Saturday, and day tickets for Saturday.
