He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction Dated

He-Man flying in Dragon Pearl of Destruction

We previously reported that the always impressive Bitmap Bureau had announced that they were developing a side-scrolling beat ‘em up based on the Masters of the Universe franchise, to be titled: ‘He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction.’ And now, we finally know just when you will “have the power” on your PC or console, as it has been confirmed that He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, which is also the official Masters of the Universe (MOTU) Day!

In the game, that dastardly villain Skeletor uncovers the ancient Dragon Pearl of Destruction, a relic of unspeakable power, and he joins forces with Evil-Lyn to plunge all of Eternia into eternal darkness, and, as usual with these things, only He-Man, Man-At-Arms and Teela can save the planet!

You don’t just get the chance to play as He-Man, as Man-At-Arms and Teela are also playable characters, and there’s even the chance to unlock She-Ra as a playable character in future playthroughs! Each hero in the game features a unique playstyle, from He-Man’s raw power to Teela’s agile staff combat.

You can wishlist He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction on Steam now.
