Originally released on PC back in 2022, CyberBlocker Complete Edition is a brick breaker game that also  incorporates elements of shoot ‘em ups.

As you may have gathered, we love a good brick breaker game here at Retro News, having recently enjoyed titles such as Hextreme Void and Bob the Brick Breaker.

So, naturally, we were intrigued to learn that the prolific indie publisher Eastasiasoft plans to bring CyberBlocker Complete Edition to consoles next month.

Eatasiasoft describes CyberBlocker Complete Edition as: “a brick-breaking action puzzler with shoot’em up elements,” going oin to dsay that, in the game you have to “maneuver twin ships to ricochet an orb into enemy blocks and clear the battlefield while dodging incoming fire and collecting power-up capsules. Aim for higher scores as ball speed increases. Keep it in play, combine your reflective ships for an even wider shield and face off against massive bosses across 5 unique stages. Enjoy unlimited replay value and push your skills further in Challenge Mode!”

The brick breaker genre has a long lineage in the history of games, with the first brick breaker game, seeing release in 1976. Now, some 50 years later, Eastsiasoft is keeping the genre alive with CyberBlocker Complete Edition!

CyberBlocker Complete Edition has been developed by KT Software and Eastasiasoft, and the game is is set to bounce onto PlayStation 4,&5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One & Series X|S on April 29, 2026. We hope to bring you a review of the game soon!
