Diggy Diggy Mole Tunnels up onto NES & Famicom

Diggy Diggy Mole is a new Metroidvania game that’s been released on Nintendo’s NES and Famicom 8-bit consoles via Broke Studio’s Homebrew Factory service, on which we’ve reported previously.

Homebrew Factory describes the story of Diggy Diggy Mole as follows: “Jump, dig and drill across various biomes in the cavern, filled with wonders, dangers, and secrets waiting to be discovered. Get picks to unlock new abilities and move through both air and ground with incredible agility. Find the treasure lost underground, forced to repay your debt to the mafia, who embedded a pick in your head as punishment.”

Features of the NES version of Diggy Diggy Mole include: PAL and NTSC versions in the same cartridge; in-game text in English only; box and booklet texts in English and French. This version of the game comes with: a brand new cartridge; a brand new cartridge sleeve; a full color cardboard box; a full color manual; a styrofoam block; and a PDF booklet.

Features of the Famicom version of Diggy Diggy Mole include: in-game text in English only; box and booklet texts in English and Japanese. This version comes with: a brand new cartridge; a full color cardboard box; a full color manual; and a PDF booklet.

At the time of writing, there are currently 83 copies of the NES version in stock, and just 20 copies of the Famiciom version. The first 100 orders of the game come with a free Diggy Diggy Mole pin. Each version of the game is priced at 50.00€.
