NFL Retro Bowl ’27 is an officially licensed game that features all the real teams and players from the NFL, presented in a retro pixel-art style.
In the game, players can start their NFL coaching career by assembling their roster from a choice of real-life NFL & NFLPA players.
NFL Retro Bowl ’27 introduces a new Gauntlet Mode to the franchise. In this mode, players start with limited resources, and they must end a 15-game winning streak with the highest score of all the players.
NFL Retro Bowl ’27 will be published on Apple Arcade by New Star Games, an independent games publisher/developer who has previously published retro-style sports games such as New Star Soccer, which went on to win a BAFTA in 2013 and the smash-hit American football game ‘Retro Bowl’, of which NFL Retro Bowl ‘27 is the latest entry in the series, following NFL Retro Bowl ’25, and NFL Retro Bowl ‘26.
