Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos Remaster Coming to PC & Console

We reported previously on the modern remaster of the first Croc game, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, and now Croc’s developer and publisher, Argonaut Games, has announced that its remaster of its first Croc game is set to be joined by a modern remaster of the game’s sequel, Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos.

Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos was originally released on PlayStation in 1999, before being ported to PC a year later in 2000, but this new remastered version of Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos will be the game’s first release for over a quarter of a century, and despite positive reviews and strong sales, there was never a third mainline game released in the Croc series, with the most recent new Croc game being a spin-off mobile game titled ‘Croc Mobile: Volcanic Panic!’ in 2006.

Like the original Croc game, Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos is a3D open-world platform game.

The Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbos remaster is set to be released on PlayStation4&5; Nintendo Switch; Xbox Series X|S; and PC. A release window for the game has not been announced, beyond an incredibly vague “coming soon,” but you can already wishlist the game on Steam, GOG, and PlayStation now, or you can register to be notified of the opening of wishlisting on Nintendo Switch and Xbox on the Argonaut Games website.
