Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants Ninja Edition, a new improved version of the 2017 arcade brawler Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants, will be released digitally on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4th, 2026, with a physical release set to follow on October 9th, 2026.
The game originally received home ports back in 2024, and it’s based on Nickelodeon’s well-regarded 2012 iteration of the TMNT.
This new Ninja Edition of the game introduces Master Splinter and Casey Jones as playable characters, and it also features increased resolution (1080p handheld, 4K docked), 60 FPS, faster loading times, HDR support and improved graphics quality including reflection effects, anti-aliasing, enhanced lighting and dynamic shadows.
Key features offered in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants Ninja Edition include:
“Six stages and 13 boss battles, including three stages and six boss battles not present in the original arcade release; Leo, Raph, Donnie and Mikey are all voiced by the talents of the 2012 TMNT series (Seth Green, Sean Astin, Rob Paulsen, Greg Cipes); special super attacks unique to each character; four-player local couch co-op.”
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants Ninja Edition is priced at $29.99 USD or local equivalent on the Nintendo eShop and at major retailers. The game has been developed by Cradle Games and Raw Thrills, and it will be published by Trailmark Games.
