Skateland Adventures is an all-new platform game for Game Boy Color, which was developed and published following a successful Kickstarter campaign, on which we reported previously.
Skateland Adventures has been developed by Kaiman Games, which describes the game as follows: “Inspired by classics like Wonder Boy, Adventure Island, California Games, Cool Spot, ToeJam & Earl, Greendog… Skateland Adventures brings fresh summer vibes, a funky 90s-style power-funk soundtrack, and fast, super smooth gameplay, all driven by the rhythm of your skateboard.”
A physical release of the game will be rolling out in the future, but for now, the full game of Skateland Adventures is available to purchase as a digital ROM for Game Boy Color, via itch.io, priced at a minimum purchase pice of 9.99€ EUR.
The digital version of Skateland Adventures was released on August 23, 2026, and at the time of writing, the physical Game Boy Color cartridge version of the game can still be pre-ordered via late pledges made to the game’s Kickstarter campaign, but Kaiman Games warns that: “The physical editions of Skateland Adventures are still available through late pledges on our Kickstarter page, but they will be closed soon!” So, if you’d like a physical copy of Skateland Adventures, you’d better get your skates on!
