New GBC Game Drakoko Needs Funds in Less Than 3 Days

Game Boy Color homebrew developer Ryuha Studio is seeking funds to publish a new Game Boy Color game by the name of Draoko, and at the time of writing, with just 65 hours left to run on its Kickstarter campaign, the project is currently falling short of its goal, with the total amount pledged currently standing at £5,958 GBP of a £6,789 goal, from 109 backers.

Drakoko is a cutesy platformer/cute ‘em up about “sweet little dragons” who have been “turned wild ad angry” by a “dark spell”.

Rewards on offer in the Drakoko Kickstarter campaign include: a digital copy of the game, including a Game Boy Color ROM and a PDF instruction booklet; a deluxe digital edition, which also includes the game’s OST in a high quality format; a physical boxed edition of the game; and a physical Collector’s Edition of the game, which also includes the game’s soundtrack on CD and an exclusive mini poster.

So, if you like the sound of a new cutesy Game Boy Color game with a protagonist for whom “love is her only weapon,” you still have time to help Drakoko become reality by backing the project on Kickstarter today!

The Game Boy Color is certainly a popular format for homebrew developers, with other recent Game Boy Color titles on which we’ve reported including The Echoes of Worlds and Skateland Adventures.
