Nintendo has unveiled that Super R-Type, a much-loved classic, will be playable on the Nintendo Switch Online from April 12, 2024, delighting fans eager to experience the game on the move. Additionally, two other titles will join the platform: Amazing Hebereke, offering whimsical multiplayer combat, and Wrecking Crew ’98, which will be available outside of Japan for the first time. Super R-Type is the sole Super NES game entering the service.
These titles come with the perk of online multiplayer capabilities, enabling players to either collaborate or compete, especially in games like Wrecking Crew ’98. Plus, to assist players with these retro challenges, features like save states and rewind will be accessible.
