Some had questioned the reliability of Midori‘s leaks, including the claim about the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster. However, Schreier‘s statement added weight to the speculation that both a Final Fantasy Tactics remaster and a remake of Final Fantasy 9 are among the unannounced Final Fantasy games planned for release. These rumors were fueled by a leak on Nvidia’s GeForce Now streaming service in 2021, which Nvidia later confirmed as real but stated that the listed games were used for internal testing and may not necessarily exist.
