Atari Gamestation Go Out Next Month

Atari Gamestation Go is a new Atari handheld console and is the latest in MyArcade’s Gamestation line of retro consoles, on which we have previously reported.

The Atari Gamestation Go will come with over 200 console and arcade games, including titles such as Balls of Steel, Breakout,  and Pac-Man, and five games from Atari’s neo-retro Recharged series, with the console games being drawn from the extensive back catalogs of Atari’s 2600, 5200 and 7800 consoles.

The handheld will also offer six different control methods, which are: paddle, trackball, D-pad, bumpers, numeric keypad, and classic gamepad buttons, which allows all of the included games to be played as they were originally intended.

The Atari Gamestation Pro features a high-res, 7-inch display, WiFi connectivity, HDMI, USB-C ports, and a rechargeable battery.

MyArcade had this to say about the Atari Gamestation Go: “We are proud that Yanko Design has recognized our commitment to blending nostalgia with modern technology. Their feature highlights the thoughtful design and functionality of the Gamestation Go, and we’re honored to be showcased on their platform. This recognition reassures us of the quality and innovation we bring to our products.”

It also looks rather swanky indeed, and it is available for pre-order now in select territories, priced at $179.99, prior to its release next month, which was revealed in by Atari in a post on X, following the console’s reveal earlier this year at CES.
