Atari Legacy: Mew Magazine Out Now

Atari Legacy is a new quarterly magazine devoted to the “history and culture” of Atari.

Unlike an earlier Atari magazine on which we reported, Atari Addict, Atari Legacy will be an ongoing publication, and not a one-off special.

Issue one of Atari Legacy is out now, and its contents include a feature on the history of the 8-bit Atari demo scene in Poland and a review of the Atari ST homebrew game Miracle Boy in Dragon Land., as well as an interview with the developer of that game.

Atari Legacy was even made on the 32-bit Atari Falcon computer, using the Calamus DTP package, with the magazine’s publisher noting that Atari Legacy is: “probably the only magazine in the world typeset on an Atari Falcon.”

The first issue of Atari Legacy was published this Tuesday, June 23rd 2026, and you can order it from the Atari Legacy website, where it is available for delivery worldwide, and where you can also check out a few sample pages of the mag. Or, if you happen to be in Poland, where Atari Legacy is published, you can even pick the magazine up in newsagents’ shops.

Each issue of Atari Legacy costs $15.99 USD or local equivalent.
