This week, modder KurkoMods introduced an exciting new mod titled Banjo Kazooie: Bear Waker Deluxe, which brings Banjo and Kazooie into the realm of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
This enhanced version builds on a 2019 hack called Bear Waker, where players navigate Banjo around Outset Island, collecting 21 Jiggies, 125 notes, 20 Mumbo tokens, and 12 honeycomb pieces, while uncovering Easter Eggs related to Game Boy and GameCube items as well as humorous references to the characters’ recent inactivity.
A “Golden Jiggy” edition exclusive to Kurko Mods’ YouTube members and Patreon supporters features two additional secrets. KurkoMods is also known for creating The Legend of Banjo Kazooie – The Jiggies of Time and is currently working on another crossover mod called BK Nostalgia 64, where Banjo visits classic titles like GoldenEye 007 and Super Mario 64.
