Dedicated Gamer Keeps Mario Kart 7 Alive on 3DS Servers

A dedicated Mario Kart 7 player known as Fishguy6564 has managed to stay connected to the now-inactive Nintendo 3DS servers for over four months following their official shutdown. While the number of players engaging with 3DS and Wii U titles has dwindled from around 23 to just him, he found that he could still connect to active bots racing online. To prolong this experience, he keeps his 3DS plugged into an uninterruptible power supply, securely stored away.

Fishguy6564‘s commitment to preserving this gaming experience is commendable, as he continues his quest despite acknowledging that there will eventually be a time when he must conclude this venture on his terms.

I’m Yousiff Taqi, born in ’87, and I’ve been a huge fan of retro games for as long as I can remember. My favorites are RPGs, Platformers, and Action Adventure. I’ve been interested in computers ever since I was young, which is why I pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Now, armed with my passion for both retro gaming and computer engineering, I’m excited to embark on new adventures in the world of technology, where I hope to merge my interests and make meaningful contributions. https://www.instagram.com/Aeon https://twitter.com/FencerDarkwind
