Donkey Kong Land III Joins Nintendo Switch Online Library

Donkey Kong Land III has been added to the Nintendo Switch Online service, completing the trilogy of Donkey Kong Land games available on the platform. This addition allows subscribers to experience the entire series of Game Boy titles that accompanied the popular Donkey Kong Country games on the SNES. Originally released in 1997, Donkey Kong Land III follows Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong as they embark on an adventure to find the fabled Lost World before a group of Kremlings can reach it.

The game maintains the series’ signature platforming gameplay, featuring a variety of levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and collectibles. Players navigate through different environments, utilizing Dixie’s helicopter spin and Kiddy’s strength to overcome challenges. The game also includes animal buddies that assist in various ways, adding depth to the gameplay.

With Donkey Kong Land III now available, Nintendo Switch Online members can enjoy all three Donkey Kong Land titles via the Game Boy app. This release is part of Nintendo’s ongoing effort to expand its retro gaming library on the Switch, providing fans with access to classic games from past Nintendo consoles. Subscribers can access these games by updating their Game Boy app through the Nintendo Switch Online service.

I’m Yousiff Taqi, born in ’87, and I’ve been a huge fan of retro games for as long as I can remember. My favorites are RPGs, Platformers, and Action Adventure. I’ve been interested in computers ever since I was young, which is why I pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Now, armed with my passion for both retro gaming and computer engineering, I’m excited to embark on new adventures in the world of technology, where I hope to merge my interests and make meaningful contributions. https://www.instagram.com/Aeon https://twitter.com/FencerDarkwind
