Evercade Wireless Controller Revealed

Blaze Entertainment has taken to X to reveal their forthcoming Evercade Wireless Controller, designed for use for use with the company’s Evercade VS home consoles and Evercade Apha bartop arcades.

While Blaze’s Evercade consoles have generally done a formidable job of recreating the retro game playing and collecting experience, with their collectable physical-only releases coming in in clamshell cases with full color manuals, and the games available for the system being a mix of bone fide arcade, home computer, and console classics, as well as neo-retro homebrew titles, one aspect of retro gaming that we didn’t much enjoy revisiting on Evercade was the Evercade VS home console’s wired controllers, and now, Blaze Entertainment is finally doing something to rectify this, as come September 2026, Blaze will be releasing an Evercade Wireless Controller for use with its Evercade VS/VS-R home consoles and Evercade Alpha bartop arcades. Not only will the new controller be wireless, but it will also offer turbo fire, analog sticks and a dongle with magnetic storage.

The addition of analog sticks is especially welcome, with the Evercade receiving an increasing number of PlayStation ports, such as the Tomb Raider collections, on which we have previously reported. Pre-orders for the Evercade Wireless Controller are open now, at select retailers.
