The Everdrive 64 Pro is the latest release in the Everdrive line of flashcarts for retro consoles, and you might be able to gues from those two digits in its name, this one is for the Nintendo 64. While the Nintendo 64 has, indeed, had an Everdrive flashcart released for it before, the new Everdrive 64 Pro is an improvement on the previous model, offering twice as much on-board SDRAM, much faster data transfer (thanks to its USB-C connection), capacity for more cheat codes, and new features such as a 64DD core, custom menu themes, and battery voltage monitoring.
Other features offered by the Evercade 64 Pro include: Cyclone 10 FPGA; 128 MB SDRAM (1024 Mbit); RTC support; support for all Game Pak save types (SRAM, EEPROM, FlashRAM)/s; cheat code support; Controller Pak manager; Transfer Pak manager; IPS/APS auto patching; Custom menu themes; ROM metadata; built-in FPGA-based NES core; external emulators support; and an on-board button for 64DD disk swapping and cheats.
The Everdrive 64 Pro is priced at $169 USD, and it can be ordered now, via its manufacturer, Krikzz.
The Everdrive 64 Pro is available in several different color options, but the grey, transparent clear and ice blue colors will ship earlier than the other options, which will be dispatched within three weeks.
