A fan-made adaptation of Halo: Combat Evolved for the Game Boy Color has been created by SofaSwordsman using GB Studio, transforming the original 3D first-person shooter into a 2D top-down game.
Players take on the role of Master Chief, accompanied by the AI Cortana, as they battle 2D aliens while exploring the mysteries of the Halo, a ring-shaped artificial world. This version can be played online without the need for downloads or emulators.
