SNK’s legendary NEOGEO seems to be having quite the revival at the moment, especially with the recently announced new NEOGEO AES+ console, on which we reported previously, as well as Metal Slug’s 30th anniversary celebrations, on which we also reported. And last year, Blaze Entertainment released three collections of NEOGEO games for their Evercade range of retro consoles, as well as a handheld NEOGEO Super Pocket console, on which we have reported previously.

And now, Blaze Entertainment has taken to its  official Evercade Discord server to announce that more Evercade NEOGEO cartridges will be coming in 2027! So, if you’re an Evercade owner who’s hungry for more NEOGEO goodness, but you don’t want to splash out on the NEOGEO AES+, then there’s something for you to look forward to next year!

We don’t yet know which NEOGEO games will be collected on next year’s Evercade NEOGEO cartridges, but the games already available on the previously released cartridges are:

NEOGEO Arcade 1: Metal Slug, The King of Fighters 2000, Shock Troopers, Magician Lord, Ironclad, and Sengoku.

NEOGEO Arcade 2: Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Art of Fighting 2, Metal Slug 2, Crossed Swords, Ninja Commando, and Sengoku 2.

NEOGEO Arcade 3: The King of Fighters ’97, Metal Slug 3, Twinkle Star Sprites, Samurai Shodown II, Ghost Pilots, and Super Sidekicks.
