Boss Team Games and developer WayForward, in collaboration with various partners, are releasing two pixel art side-scrolling platformers, RetroRealms: Halloween and RetroRealms: Ash vs Evil Dead, on October 18 for multiple platforms, priced at $24.99 each or $49.99 for a physical “Double Feature” bundle. This bundle includes collectible trading cards and downloadable content featuring unique characters with distinct gameplay styles. A Collector’s Edition will also be available for $99.99.
The games, inspired by the Halloween film and Ash vs Evil Dead series, aim to combine retro arcade gameplay with modern horror elements, with plans for additional titles in the RetroRealms series in development.
