As we’ve reported previously, once Blaze Entertainment’s rights to publish a particular Evercade cartridges expires, it enters what the publisher refers to as “legacy status, ” and no further copies can be issued. Piko Interactive Collection 1 was one such cartridge, entering “legacy status” back in 2023. However, in an unusual move, Piko Interactive Collection 1 has been rereleased today (August 28, 2026), meaning that its “legacy status” no longer applies.
Evercade cartridges in “legacy status” often change hands for exorbitant sums of money, due to their scarcity, so the return of Piko Interactive Collection 1 is certainly good news for Evercade fans who missed out on the cart when it was originally released, back in 2023.
The 2026 reissue of Piko Interactive Collection 1 is in a slightly revised form from the original release of the cartridge, with one game fewer, boasting 19 games, as opposed to the original release’s 20, with the Genesis/Mega Drive game Magic Girl seemingly not included on the reissued cartridge.
The 19 games that are included are:

7. The Immortal (Adventure – 16-bit)
8. Jim Power – The Lost Dimension (Platformer – 16-bit)
9. Nightshade (Adventure – 8-bit)
10. Power Piggs of the Dark Ages (Platformer – 16-bit)
11. Power Punch II (Fighting – 8-bit)
12. Radical Rex (Platformer – 16-bit)
13. Switchblade (Platformer – 8-bit)
14. The Humans (Puzzle – 16-bit)
15. Tinhead (Platformer – 16-bit)
16. Top Racer (Driving and Racing – 16-bit)
17. Exploding Fist (Fighting – 8-bit)
18. Water Margin (Beat ’em up – 16-bit)

Piko Interactive Collection 1 is available right now to purchase from Evercade retailers and is part of Evercade‘s red-colored home console range as cartridge #09. It will be available for £24.99, $29.99, and €29.99, and releases alongside Visco Arcade 1 & 2, on which we have also reported previously, and which are also available from today.
