The Rugrats Retro Rewind Collection is a compilation of retro games based on the popular Nickelodeon “Nicktoon” Rugrats, set to be published by Limited Run Games next week, following its similar Nickelodeon collections, The Ren & Stimpy Happy Happy Joy Joy Collection, and The Nickelodeon Splat Pack, on both of which we have previously reported.
The games to be included on the Rugrats Retro Rewind Collection are: Search for Reptar (PlayStation 1, 1998); Castle Capers (Game Boy Advance, 2001), and Time Travelers (Game Boy Color, 1999); The Rugrats Movie (Game Boy, 1998 & Game Boy Color, 1999)’ and Rugrats: Studio Tour (PlayStation 1, 1999); and Rugrats in Paris: The Movie (PlayStation 1, Game Boy Color, 2000).
As you might expect from a modern release of retro titles, the games will include some quality of life improvements, such as the ability to rewind and save anywhere;
And retro screen filters. Extras will also include a digital museum with high-resolution scans of the original manuals and box art, and a music player.
The Rugrats Retro Rewind Collection will release digitally on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Steam this Friday, May 1, 2026.
Standard and Deluxe physical editions of The Rugrats Retro Rewind Collection are also set to be released on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with pre-orders also opening on the Limited Run Games website this Friday, May 1st, 2026.
