The Shovel Knight Live: Steel Thy Concert performance in Los Angeles, originally scheduled for January 19, 2025, has been postponed due to the ongoing wildfires in the area. Yacht Club Games announced that the new date for the concert will be March 30, 2025, at the same venue, the Fonda Theatre. The decision was made to ensure the safety of attendees, performers, and staff.
The concert is part of a two-show event celebrating the 10th anniversary of Shovel Knight. It features a full orchestral performance of music from the game and its expansions, including Plague of Shadows, Specter of Torment, and King of Cards. The New York City performance at Town Hall, scheduled for February 22, 2025, remains unaffected and will proceed as planned.
Ticket holders for the Los Angeles show will have their tickets automatically transferred to the new date. Yacht Club Games has also confirmed that refunds are available for those unable to attend on March 30. Despite this delay, excitement remains high for the concert series, which promises exclusive previews of music from Yacht Club Games’ upcoming title Mina the Hollower and unique merchandise available only at the events.
