Sonic Team’s Stance on Adventure 3 and Chao Garden

Takashi Iizuka, head of the Sonic Team, clarified in a recent interview that Sonic Adventure 3 is not currently in development and that there are no plans for it at this time. While he expressed a desire to eventually create the game, he emphasized that it remains uncertain.

He also addressed requests for a standalone Chao Garden game, stating that it is an integral part of the Sonic Adventure series and cannot exist independently. Iizuka suggested that interest in both Chao Garden and Adventure 3 reflects a desire for the entire Adventure experience, and he remains hopeful for the future, should circumstances align.
