The Super Mario World vinyl soundtrack is officially set to release on April 30, 2025, in Japan. Warner Music Japan is reissuing this iconic soundtrack as part of a special collection celebrating the music of the Super Mario series. The vinyl will feature tracks from the original Super Mario World game, which debuted on the Super Famicom/SNES in 1990.

This release will come in the form of a three-disc box set, offering a comprehensive selection of music and sound effects from the game. The set is priced at ¥11,550 (approximately $78 USD) and is available for pre-order through various retailers, including HMV Japan and Play-Asia.

Fans can expect high-quality audio remastered for vinyl, capturing Koji Kondo’s iconic compositions that defined the Super Mario World experience. This includes memorable tracks like the “Overworld Theme,” “Athletic Theme,” and “Castle Theme,” as well as sound effects that evoke nostalgia for the classic platformer.
