TAITO and M2 have officially announced the release of Operation Night Strikers, a collection for PC that includes two classic arcade games: Operation Wolf and Night Striker. This collection will bring these iconic titles to modern platforms, allowing players to experience the fast-paced, action-packed gameplay that made them popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
- Operation Wolf (1987) is a rail shooter that originally featured a unique arcade cabinet equipped with an Uzi light gun, immersing players in intense military action.
- Night Striker (1989) is a vehicular combat game known for its futuristic setting and memorable soundtrack, especially from its arcade version.

In addition to these classic games, the collection will also feature Night Striker GEAR, a new title currently in development by M2. This new game is expected to build on the original Night Striker experience, offering updated gameplay mechanics while staying true to the spirit of the original.
Fans of these arcade classics are excited about the collection, though some are curious how well the experience of using a light gun in Operation Wolf will translate to modern control schemes like mouse or analog sticks.
