Touki Denshou Angel Eyes has been announced as this week’s release in Hamster Corporation’s Console Archives line of emulated titles from classic consoles for modern formats, following last week’s release of UFO: A Day in the Life, on which we reported at the time.
This week’s game, Touki Denshou Angel Eyes is a fighting game that was first released into arcades by Tecmo back in 1996, with a PlayStation version following a year later, and that PlayStation version added a new story mode and a new training mode to the game. Said PlayStation version of Touki Denshou Angel Eyes forms this week’s Console Archives release, and as Touki Denshou Angel Eyes was only released in Japan at the time, the Console Archives version therefore, inevitably, uses the Japanese ROM of the game.
, Touki Denshou Angel Eyes was notable on its release for featuring an all-female roster of fighters, and Hamster Corporation describes the game as follows: “Choose your fighter from the “Eight Angels” and battle your way to the top to become the ultimate “Archangel” in this thrilling fighting game.”
The Console Archives version of Touki Denshou Angel Eyes is released from today (August 13, 2026), on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, priced at $1.99 USD or local equivalent.
