2 More N64 Games Headed for Switch Online Next Week

It only seems like yesterday that we reported on the latest addition to Nintendo Switch Online’s latest addition to the Nintendo Classics catalog, and that’s because it was, when we reported on the addition of Wario World. But now, Nintendo has confirmed that they will bre adding two more Nintendo 64 titles for subscribers to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service. The Nintendo 64 titles in question are: Rayman 2: The Great Escape, and Tonic Trouble, which will both be added to the Nintendo Classics service next week, on December 17th, 2025.

Rayman 2: The Great Escape is a 3D platform game that was originally released by Ubisoft on Nintendo 64 back in 1999. In addition to its Nintendo 64 release, Rayman 2: The Great Escape was also released on PC, Sega Dreamcast, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Color, and Nintendo DS, so there have been plenty of opportunities to play it before now, but here’s yet another one!

Meanwhile, Tonic Trouble is an action-adventure game that was also originally released by Ubisoft on Nintendo 64 in 1999, also receiving a PC release, then a Game Boy Color release a year later.

Once again, it’s great to see that Nintendo is willing to venture beyond their first party titles for games to add to Nintendo Switch Online’s Nintendo Classics collection.
