Today (July 8, 2026), Nintendo has added four (or five, depending on how you look at it) more titles to its Nintendo Classics catalog on the Nintendo Switch Online service, with three more titles from the original Game Boy and one (but sort of two) from the 32-bit Game Boy Advance now available to play on the service, with release dates spanning from 1991 up to 2005.
All Nintendo Switch Online subscribers now have access to three more Game Boy games, which are: the first-party platform game Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 (1994); Kemco’s RPG The Sword of Hope II (1992); and Fortified Zone (1991), which is a shoot ‘em up by Jaleco.
Meanwhile, those who subscribe to the Expansion Pack tier of Switch Online also now have access to the two-in-one Game Boy Advance first-party puzzle game combo of Dr. Mario & Puzzle League (2005).
These titles were added to the Nintendo Switch Online’s Nintendo Classics catalog today (July 8, 2026), and they follow last month’s addition of the Nintendo 64 title Donkey Kong 64, on which we reported at the time.
We wonder which of its console’s back catalogs Nintendo will plunder for its next Nintendo Classics releases? Could we see more GameCube titles on the service, perhaps? We haven’t seen a new addition to Switch Online’s GameCube catalog since Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness back in March, as we reported at the time.
