iPhone Now Has Its First Nintendo 3DS Emulator

Apple recently updated its policy on emulation for iOS devices, allowing the release of new apps providing retro gaming experiences to iPhone and iPad users.

Folium, an emulator created by Jarrod Norwell, now supports games from the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Nintendo 3DS. Folium is priced at $4.99 / £4.99 / AU$7.99 and requires powerful hardware to run smoothly. Despite the cost, the revenue from purchases fuels the continuous development of the app, with Norwell pledging future updates for an improved user experience.

I’m Yousiff Taqi, born in ’87, and I’ve been a huge fan of retro games for as long as I can remember. My favorites are RPGs, Platformers, and Action Adventure. I’ve been interested in computers ever since I was young, which is why I pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Now, armed with my passion for both retro gaming and computer engineering, I’m excited to embark on new adventures in the world of technology, where I hope to merge my interests and make meaningful contributions. https://www.instagram.com/Aeon https://twitter.com/FencerDarkwind
