Zelda II Is Now Available On The SNES

Infidelity, known for converting NES games to the SNES, has revealed their latest project – bringing Zelda II: The Adventure of Link to Nintendo’s 16-bit system. Currently exclusive to Infidelity’s Patreon supporters, the port is in beta stage and fully playable. The developer shared that there are known issues being worked on, as detailed in the readme file. Originally released in Japan in 1987 for the Famicom Disk System, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link made its way to the West in cartridge format the following year. This installment in the Zelda series was a departure from the original game, featuring a side-on view for towns and combat, along with the introduction of experience points – a unique feature not seen in other Zelda titles.
